Kodax Black beats cocaine charge

A Florida judge has dismissed the last charge in a drug possession case against South Florida rapper Kodak Black (Bill Kapri). A powder initially tested positive for cocaine, but a lab test later revealed it was oxycodone, for which Kapri obtained a prescription in July 2022. The arrest was a violation of his probation from an unrelated case, which led to him being locked up for 2 months. Kapri’s case is now dismissed except for a traffic ticket.

Cops searched a black Bentley SUV with the rapper asleep at the wheel. They found drugs. Kodax Black was busted for possession of cocaine, tampering with physical evidence and improperly stopping or parking a vehicle. Kodak Black has sold more than 30 million singles, with hits like “Super Gremlin,” which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2022
